  • Website Access: Choose Remote if your site is stored on a web hosting service. Choose Local if your site is located only on your hard drive, or if you wish to upload your site changes manually.
  • Bloggers: If you are optimizing your blog, select the type of blog program you use: Blogger, WordPress, or LiveJournal. Then enter your login name and password and click Connect. You can now skip to Step 4, Landing Pages.
  • Logs Access: Choose Remote if you know where to access the log files stored on your web host. Choose Local if you have log files stored on your hard drive.

Important

Many SEO software solutions on the market today operate like "loan sharks," in that whatever boost they might give your web site's ranking one month tends to be taken away with heavy interest the next.

This happens when programs try to achieve high rankings for your website through exploiting temporary vulnerabilities in the search engine's ranking algorithms. An approach often referred to as "spamming".

Because search engines take a dim view of websites found to be exploiting weaknesses in their ranking algorithms. Heavy penalties are issues and, sometimes, sites are even "blacklisted" and banished from the listings entirely. Which is a
disastrous consequence for any business.

And that's why RankSense takes a very different approach to search engine optimization.

RankSense evaluates your website with the eye of a search spider, and then helps you to genuinely improve the quality and relevance of your web pages for the keywords and phrases you desire.

In other words, RankSense plays by all of the search engines' rules (and adheres to their guidelines). The end result is high rankings for you web pages that last - permanently.
